Teachers’ Day Celebrations at Miles Bronson Residential School (Day Scholar): A Tribute to Nation Builders
Miles Bronson Residential School proudly celebrated Teachers’ Day on Saturday, 7th September 2024, paying homage to the Nation Builders—our respected teachers.
Ceremonial Commencement
The celebrations began at 9:00 AM in the AnuChandra Auditorium & Multi-Sports Complex, with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the revered Founder and Principal, Dr. Nripen Kr. Dutta. In his address, Dr. Dutta emphasized the crucial role teachers play in shaping a child’s future and praised the unwavering dedication of educators during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Spectacular Student Performances
The cultural program opened with a semi-classical dance performance by Akshaya and Akshara from Grade XI, followed by an energetic Pom-Pom dance by the students of Grades I and II. The celebration continued with a dazzling Barbie Dance, performed by students from Grades III to V.
A highlight of the event was the play, “Teacher: A Constant Source of Inspiration,” performed by the talented Bronsonians. The play paid tribute to the invaluable contributions of teachers, creatively depicting their impact on students’ lives.
