Celebrating Global Round Square Day – MBRS Hosts First-ever Fundraiser Carnival
On 17th May 2025, Miles Bronson Residential School (MBRS) came alive with energy, compassion, and creativity as we celebrated Global Round Square Day through a vibrant and purposeful initiative — our first-ever Fundraiser Challenge Carnival.
This special event, led by our enthusiastic students and supported wholeheartedly by the MBRS community, was a joyful celebration of Round Square ideals in action. What made the day truly special was the intention behind it: all proceeds from the carnival were donated to the Round Square Discovery Fund, reaffirming our commitment to global citizenship and service.
Event Highlights:
• Indian Street Food Stalls – thoughtfully prepared and served by students, showcasing culinary skills and teamwork.
• Baked Goods Corner – offering an array of delightful homemade treats crafted with care and creativity.
• Handcrafted Art & Jewellery Displays – a beautiful showcase of student talent and imagination, with every piece made with love.
• Fun Games & Activities – enjoyed by students, staff, and parents alike, these activities brought fun and fundraising together seamlessly.
The campus buzzed with excitement and purpose as students worked collaboratively to host, manage, and lead various aspects of the carnival. It was an inspiring demonstration of leadership, responsibility, and empathy — core values we strive to cultivate every day at MBRS.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all parents, guardians, and well-wishers whose encouragement and participation made the event a resounding success. Your unwavering support continues to inspire our students to dream big and act boldly.
This Global Round Square Day, we didn’t just celebrate — we gave back.
