MBRS News Bureau:
A delegation comprising 16 students and 1 teacher in charge participated in the Leadership Camp organized by Indus School of Leadership, Bangalore from 21st to 26th January, 2020. The main objective of the program was to sensitize the students in preparing transformational leaders to meet all the challenges of the 21st Century, through Simulations, Experiential Learning, Traditional Values and the preferred application of ‘Soft Power’ to achieve personal & organizational goals.
The students delegates are Nathanial Lyngdoh (XI Commerce); Aditi Kashyap (XI Commerce); Khilanjana Borah (XI Humanities); Dijonso Tawsik (XI Science); Shruti Roy Medhi (Class IX); Birkhang Narzary (Class IX); Karam Raunak Singh (Class VIII); Udipta Mazumdar (Class VIII); Debashree Laishram (XI Humanities); Rennedi Laisram (XI Science); Shila Devi (XI Humanities); Imlikala Jamir (XI Science); Anne Lipir (XI Humanities); Sentinaro Pongem (XI Science); Arti Mahato (XI Humanities); Otem Tekseng (XI Commerce) and the Teacher delegate Ms. Monima Handique, PGT – English.
Throughout the 6 day fun, thrill and activity oriented program the students experienced Self Awareness; Discovery Course; Teamwork & Competitive Spirit; Leadership Disposition Course; Endurance; Trekking; Problem Solving; Risk Taking; Resilience; Rock Climbing and similar. Besides these, students had an amusing time of Bangalore sightseeing when they visited Nehru planetarium, Vidhan Sabha, Cubbon Park Aquarium and shopping at UB City Mall.
This is envisaged that the delegates who have come back to MBRS will disseminate their incredible learning to other students and also collaborate to achieve the Organizational Leadership Goals of MBRS.
