Diwali Night 2024: A Sparkling Celebration at Miles Bronson Residential School

Miles Bronson Residential School (MBRS) celebrated Diwali Nite on Friday, November 1, 2024, bringing together students, faculty, and special guests for an evening filled with lights, music, dance, and joyous festivities.

The celebrations commenced at the school’s playground, where the esteemed Founder and Principal, Dr. Nripen Kumar Dutta, began the evening by lighting traditional earthen lamps (diyas). In his Diwali message, Dr. Dutta highlighted the mythological significance of Diwali as the Festival of Lights and encouraged everyone to embrace the principles of a Green Diwali, promoting an environmentally friendly celebration.

A spectacular display of sparklers followed, captivating everyone present and setting a magical tone for the evening. Adding to the festive spirit, the Bronsonians delighted the audience with mesmerizing dance performances, showcasing their talent and adding charm to the occasion.

The excitement reached new heights as the night continued with an electrifying DJ performance by the renowned DJ Brahmin and DJ Liza, who had everyone dancing and celebrating the festival in high spirits.

The event was graced by the presence of Mrs. Nandini Dutta, Honourable Secretary of the Miles Bronson Education Society, and Ms. Neha, Director of Operations and Student Welfare, who attended as distinguished guests. Their presence added a special touch to the celebrations, reinforcing the school’s commitment to fostering a vibrant and inclusive community.
