CBSE Cluster-I Basketball Girls Tournament 2024 Concludes with Thrilling Finals
The CBSE Cluster-I Basketball Girls Tournament 2024 kicked off on September 23rd at the Miles Bronson Residential School (MBRS) Basketball Courts, bringing together 25 teams from across the North East region. This three-day tournament featured under-14, under-17, and under-19 girls competing for top honors in the CBSE Cluster-I, North East Region.
The tournament was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Shri Jugal Chandra Borah, Principal of Faculty Higher Secondary School, Amingaon, and Treasurer of CBSE Sahodaya School Complex, Guwahati Chapter. In his address, Shri Borah emphasized the significance of sports in promoting mental and physical well-being, as well as building discipline and social skills in students. The opening ceremony included a vibrant March Past by the participating teams, accompanied by an impressive brass band performance by MBRS students, followed by the hoisting of the CBSE flag and the official declaration of the tournament open.
After three days of fierce competition, the tournament successfully concluded on September 25th, 2024. The Closing Ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Shri Sandeep Tandon, Regional Officer of CBSE, Guwahati, who congratulated all participants and winners.

U-19 Category:
Champion: Eklavya Model Residential School, Sikkim (50 points)
Runner-Up: Army Public School, Jorhat (5 points)
U-17 Category:
Champion: Army Public School, Jorhat (21 points)
Runner-Up: Army Public School, Narangi (12 points)
U-14 Category:
Champion: Eklavya Model Residential School, Sikkim (34 points)
Runner-Up: Gurukul Grammar Senior Secondary School, Guwahati (0 points)
