Annual Day Celebration at Miles Bronson Residential School: A Spectacular Affair 2023
The Annual Day Celebration at Miles Bronson Residential School unfolded with unparalleled zeal and enthusiasm, marking a day of joy and recognition. The festivities commenced with a Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) at 9:30 AM, where Revered Founder and Principal Sir led discussions with residential parents from Standard I-IX. During this interactive session, parents shared their thoughts, suggestions, and heartfelt gratitude towards Revered Principal Sir, Honourable Secretary Ma’am, and the dedicated teaching staff for providing top-notch education and facilities.
The Evening Programme kicked off at 4:30 PM with a formal meeting graced by distinguished guests. The Chief Guest, Mr. Ravishankar Prasad, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary, Govt. of Assam, and Director-General of Administrative Staff College, lent his esteemed presence. The occasion was further adorned by Mr. Lakhan Lal Meena, Assistant Secretary and CBSE Regional Officer, CBSE Regional Office Guwahati, and Mrs. Ritu Prasad as Guests of Honour. Mr. Binod Kumar Rajak, Chief Regional Manager of Indian Overseas Bank, Guwahati Region, added to the dignitary list.
In a moment of pride and honor, the Chief Guest, Guests of Honour, and Special Invitee inaugurated the state-of-the-art auditorium, ANUCHANDRA. The auditorium, named after the parents of the Revered Founder and Principal Sir, stands as a dedication to all parents associated with the school.
A significant highlight of the event was the recognition of the top 10 performers from the 2022-23 batch and their parents. The Chief Guests, Guests of Honour, and Special Invitee, along with Dr. Nripen Kumar Dutta, the Founder and Principal of MBRs, and President of Sahoday School Complex, Guwahati Chapter, bestowed honors upon these academic achievers. Honourable Treasurer, CBSE Sahodaya School Chapter, Guwahati Chapter, Mr. Jugal Ch. Bora, and Mrs. Purnima Mehra, Honourable Secretary, CBSE Sahodaya Complex Guwahati Chapter, graced the occasion with their presence.
Following the formal meeting, the Bronsonians took the stage with a mesmerizing Dance-Drama titled “I Am Kalam.” The audience, comprising invitees and parents alike, were captivated by the stellar performances that brought the autobiography of Sir APJ Abdul Kalam to life.
The day concluded on a high note with a lavish Buffet Dinner for all at Principal’s Greens & Swimming Pool Arena, fostering a sense of camaraderie and celebration among the Miles Bronson Residential School fraternity.
