MBRS Commemorates the Journey of Its Outgoing Class of 2026

Miles Bronson Residential School proudly celebrated the Graduation Day of the Class of 2026 at the AnuChandra Auditorium & Multi-Sports Complex on 21st December 2025. The ceremony marked a significant milestone for the students as they stepped into a new chapter of growth, opportunities, and aspirations.

The event commenced with the formal March of the Graduates from the Basketball Court to the auditorium, escorted by their teachers. The inaugural ceremony held its traditional solemnity with the lighting of the lamp by Revered Founder & Principal Dr. Nripen Kumar Dutta and Henaa Duttaa, Director – Growth & Management, in the presence of the graduates’ proud parents.

In his address, Dr. Dutta shared words of wisdom, acknowledged the strengths of the graduating batch, and encouraged them to pursue their goals with commitment and courage. Each graduate was felicitated with a Souvenir and Certificate, acknowledging both their academic efforts and their personal journey at MBRS.

Council Members of 2025 reflected on their experiences, sharing meaningful insights and the lessons they gained during their time at MBRS.

MBRS Leadership Awards of Excellence

The school also announced the annual Leadership Awards of Excellence, honouring outstanding achievements across categories:

  • Excellence in Academics — Chapku Angel and Kasturi Borah
  • Excellence in Leadership — Joram Ganya, Anurag Das and Kijum Shireen Mary Loyi
  • Excellence in Literary Activities — Bidyasagar Kshetrimayum and Bhitali Mahanta
  • Excellence in Sports — Elangbam Indra Kumar and Wazibur Rahman
  • Excellence in Cultural Activity — Libi Ronya and Baibhav Kalita
  • Excellence in Social Service — Kangujam Lanthoiba Mangang and Juman Das
  • King Constantine Award — Baiatiplang Shadap

The ceremony concluded with the iconic Hat Throwing moment—a joyful symbol of transition, accomplishment, and hope. This was followed by a celebratory lunch that brought together students, parents, and educators in a warm and memorable gathering.

MBRS congratulates the Class of 2026 and wishes them success, purpose, and fulfilment as they embark on the next phase of their educational journey.
