78th Independence Day Celebration at MBRS (Day Scholar) : A Day of Patriotic fervour

The 78th Independence Day was marked by a vibrant and heartfelt celebration in the Assembly Courtyard, where students, teachers, and staff came together to honor the nation’s freedom. The event was a beautiful display of patriotism, unity, and cultural pride, reflecting the significance of this historic day.

The celebration began with the ceremonial unfurling of the National Flag by the Honourable Secretary, Nandini Dutta Ma’am. As the tricolour waved proudly against the sky, the atmosphere was charged with a deep sense of patriotism. In her inspiring speech, Ms. Dutta highlighted the profound significance of being an independent nation. A group of students from classes IV to VIII presented a patriotic dance, dressed in vibrant tricolour attire that symbolized the unity and diversity of our nation. The Crescendo Crew, a talented ensemble of students from classes VIII and XII, showcased their musical talents with a stirring rendition of a patriotic song. The performance, accompanied by various instruments, resonated with the audience, evoking a sense of pride and admiration for the country’s rich cultural heritage.

One of the highlights of the event was a soulful solo performance by Rajnish Kumar Shah, a student of class VI. His heartfelt rendition of a patriotic song moved the audience, leaving many with a renewed sense of gratitude for the nation’s freedom.

The celebration reached its crescendo with a powerful group dance by the students of class XII. Their performance embodied the spirit of patriotism and unity, serving as a fitting tribute to the nation and its people.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Kirti Kalita, the Cultural Secretary, who expressed gratitude to everyone involved in making the event a success.
