Teachers Day Celebration 2023

The Teachers’ Day celebration at our school, MBRS, on September 5th, 2023, was a lively and memorable event filled with various activities and performances. Here’s a summary of the day’s program:

Morning Program (Day Scholars):

7:00 AM: The program started with Honorable Secretary Nandini Dutta Ma’am and Revered Founder & Principal Dr. N.K. Dutta honoring the teachers as a token of love and appreciation.

9:00 AM: Anushka, the Head Girl of the Student Council (Day Section), welcomed everyone to the celebrations.

Welcome Song: Students from Class 4-6 presented a welcome song.

Ceremonial Lamp Lighting: Revered Founder and Principal Dr. N.K. Dutta, assisted by Council Members, lit the ceremonial lamp.

Principal’s Address: Dr. N.K. Dutta highlighted the importance of holistic and inclusive education, with special mention of the New Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

Cultural Program: Students showcased an energetic and colorful cultural program.

Highlights: Notable performances included a duet dance, group song, duet song, group dance, and more by various students.

Vote of Thanks: Sweety Talukdar, Chairperson of the Eco Club, MBRS, delivered the vote of thanks.

Evening Program (Residential Students):

6:00 PM: The program for residential students commenced with a welcome address by Karam Raunak Singh, Head Boy of the Student Council (Residential).

Welcome Song: Students from Class 7-11 presented a welcome song.

Ceremonial Lamp Lighting: Revered Founder and Principal Dr. N.K. Dutta, with the assistance of Council members, again lit the ceremonial lamp.

Principal’s Address: Dr. N.K. Dutta shared his thoughts and insights with the audience.

Cultural Display: The vibrant cultural display featured various performances, including solo and group singing, dancing, violin tunes, and more.

Highlights: Some notable performances included solo singing, group dancing, solo violin, and various other solo and group acts.

Vote of Thanks: The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Na-I-Lakmen Kharshandi, Chairperson of the Eco Club (Residential), Student Council, MBRS.

It appears that the day was filled with appreciation for teachers, enthusiastic performances by students, and a deep focus on education and its importance in line with the New Education Policy (NEP) 2020. A memorable celebration indeed!
