MBRS HOSTS CBSE SENSITIZATION PROGRAMME ON FINANCIAL LITERACY AND USE OF DIGITAL TOOLS AS HUB LEAD SCHOOL

On 19th October, 2022, Miles Bronson Residential School (MBRS), Guwahati hosted the CBSE Sensitization Programme on Financial Literacy and use of Digital Tools as the Guwahati City Chapter. There were around 105 teacher delegates representing 8 CBSE affiliated city schools participated in the program namely St. Clare’s Convent High School, Borjhar; St. Joseph School, Azara; St. Mary’s Sr. Sec. School, Maligaon; Pragjyotish Sr. Sec. School, Boragaon; Little Flower School, Hatigaon; Holy Home Secondary School, Pamohi; Godwins School, Beltola and the host Miles Bronson Residential School, Borjhar. The resource person appointed by CBSE was Mr. Sumit Sen Gupta. The event was graced by Dr. N. K. Dutta, Founder & Principal, MBRS; Mr. Vishek Dutta, Assistant Headmaster, MBRS; Mr. Mrityunjoy Sukla, Principal, Pragjyotish Sr. Sec. School, Boragaon; Mr. Balraj Singha, Principal, Godwins School, Beltola; Sr. Sania Rosemary, Principal, St. Mary’s Sr. Sec. School, Maligaon; Sr. Malar Kodi, Principal, St. Clare’s Convent High School, Borjhar and Ms. Pallavi Dutta, Principal, Holy Home Secondary School, Pamohi.

In the commencement speech while addressing the august gathering, Dr. N. K. Dutta, Founder & Principal, MBRS extended a warm welcome to all the delegates and also expressed a deep contentment for choosing MBRS as the hub lead school by CBSE. The resource person Mr. Sumit Sen Gupta in his presentation enlightened a deep insight about financial literacy and the wise use of digital tools which was applauded by all participants. In continuation to the workshop, there was another event “Hubs of Learning” where all the participating Principals congregated to discuss on the pedagogical reformations for the welfare of students.
