Miles Bronson Residential School has been conferred with the honour of Emerging Boarding School of the year by Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry (ASSOCHAM) of India on 22nd February, 2019 by Shri Suresh Prabhu, Honorable Minister of Commerce and Industry and Civil Aviation, Government of India in presence of Shri Pranab Mukherjee, Bharat Ratna and Honble Former President of India and Shri Uday Kumar Verma, Secretary General, ASSOCHAM. The award was received by the Founder & Principal, MBRS, Dr. N. K. Dutta.
Shri.Uday Kr Verma, in his welcome address stated that while the world is moving towards the 4th Industrial Revolution with new technologies like the like Robotics, Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence, at the same time we cannot underplay the importance of true dispositions and we must realize that we need to do a lot about it.
Shri Pranab Mukherjee in his keynote address mentioned that, India during ancient times was the Educational Hub of the World with Universities like Nalanda, Vikramshila and Takshashila but their reputation were washed away during the Medieval and Colonial times. However, today India has the third largest Education System in the world after U.S. and China and can soon become a Global Knowledge Power House if it responds positively to the challenges of growth, equity and quality.
