GRADUATION CEREMONY ‐ 2021
On 25th March, 2021, Thursday, Miles Bronson Residential School (MBRS) celebrated Graduation Ceremony 2021 with Reminiscences and a Commitment to a Promising Future. The event was chaired by Revered Dr. N. K. Dutta Sir, Founder and Principal, MBRS and graced by Honourable Mrs. Nandini Dutta Ma’am, Secretary, Miles Bronson Education Society; the Parents and Guardians of the outgoing Class XII (Commerce, Humanities & Science) students, Class 12 Board Examinees and the entire MBRS Staff.
Through the auspicious event, all the outgoing students of Class XII (Commerce, Humanities & Science) were felicitated with Mementos and Gifts from MBRS Family. Another purposeful area of the ceremony was to extend Best Wishes to the students who are going to appear the forthcoming CBSE All India Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (AISSCE – 2021) and also to recognize the Students’ Excellence in various categories like Academics, Cultural Activities, Sports, Leadership and Literary Activities in a holistic approach. In the ceremony, all outgoing students were honoured by the MBRS fraternity.
Revered Dr. N. K. Dutta, Founder and Principal, MBRS in his address to the august gathering, extended congratulations and best wishes to all the Outgoing Bronsonians as well as their Parents. He expressed his gratitude to all Parents for their collaboration in completing the academic year of the students during this Pandemic and all supports to conduct the virtual classes through technology and later acceptance of the Govt. SOPs for Offline Classes. He referred about the Blended Classes, the new pedagogical approach of Teaching Learning process to make students’ learning more engaged, self paced, joyful and result oriented. Dr. Dutta Sir highlighted upon the rapid changes of various technologies and asked all to be a part of the change for a better tomorrow with intrinsic motivation. He also enumerated about Perception; Skills like Critical Thinking; Creativity; Collaboration; Vocational; Emotional; Social Quotient and also about Skills Gap. He emphasised the importance of MBRS Motto – Excellence through Education by citing Aristotle who stated, “We are what we do, excellence is not an act, it’s a habit.”
Mrs. Nandini Dutta, Secretary, Miles Bronson Education Society in her speech cordially extended her greetings to all and thanked CBSE for extending the Board Exam in view of Pandemic and asked all to utilize this period of bonus time fruitfully to perform high in Boards. She expressed her reflections on the Power of Prayers irrespective of any religion, caste and creed.
The most charming episode of the program took its shape when the outgoing Bronsonians were sharing their experiences which was quite heart touching when the students shared their nostalgia, gratitude and gratefulness to MBRS with bounteous emotion. They were Debashree Laishram; Saikhom Angela Devi; Hiramoni Kherkatary; Jazmina Ramchiary; Deflina Rabha; Arti Mahato and Shruti Narzary. Arti Mahato (XII Humanities) and Deflina Rabha (XII Humanities) bagged the Award of Excellence in Academics and Cultural Activities respectively. In the category of Excellence in Sports, Hiramoni Kherkatary (Class XII Science) and Excellence in Leadership, Anne Lipir (Class XII Humanities) achieved the award. The category of Excellence in Literary Activities Award was conferred to Chongtham Gracerodan (Class XII Humanities).
The program was aptly guided by Ma’am Neha Dutta, Director of Operations and Child Welfare, MBRS; Anchored by Partha Pratim Kherkatary (Class 10) and Volunteered by Class 10 Students, namely Yashita Sharma; Arbin Haque and Chatterje Sheleima N.
