FOUNDER’S DAY OBSERVED AT MBRS
On 28th of February, 2020, Friday, Miles Bronson Residential School (MBRS) celebrated Founder’s Day with absolute Splendor and Gaiety in a befitting manner. At Miles Bronson Residential School, Founder’s Day is observed every year on the auspicious occasion of the Birthday of Revered Dr. N. K. Dutta, Founder and Principal, MBRS. Keeping in view of the Board Examination, the program was conducted in a short span of timeframe of 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at MBRS’s Basketball Court without touching the Prime Study Hours of the students. The event was graced & attended by Dr. N. K. Dutta, Founder & Principal, MBRS; Mrs. Nandini Dutta, Secretary, Miles Bronson Education Society; Mr. Prakash Pandey, Chief Executive, Kangaroo Kids (MBRS Campus); Director of Operations & Child Welfare, Neha Dutta; the whole Teaching & Non-Teaching Staff and all Students.
Dr. N. K. Dutta, Founder and Principal, MBRS in his Address expressed a deep contentment for organizing thy event. In his enriching speech, Dr. Dutta highlighted about Mr. George Barnard Shaw, Mr. Harvard Gardner & Mr. Jakir Hussain who were the Lifelong Learners and also stated that “Life Begins at Cradle and Ends in Grave.” In our lifetime we must keep on learning to achieve Excellence especially in three dimensions: Learning for Self; Learning for Society & Learning for Sustainability. In the course of his speech Dr. Dutta presented the Memento of the recently achieved Award of Excellence in Serving for Social Cause conferred by Associated Chambers of Commerce & Industry (ASSOCHAM), New Delhi to Miss Neha Handique, Class XI (Humanities) who is also the Secretary General, Eco Club of MBRS.
Mrs. Nandini Dutta, Secretary, Miles Bronson Education Society in her speech extended Hearty Wishes & Greetings to Dr. Dutta as well as the whole congregation for being witness of the auspicious day. Mrs. Dutta in her speech nostalgically recapitulated the MBRS’s journey from last 3 decades under able stewardship of the Dr. N. K. Dutta, the Founder & Principal, MBRS.
Eventually all the students and the staff were extended treat of Birthday Cake and special Snacks which were relished by all. The whole program was conducted by Mr. Renedy Laisram, Head Boy, MBRS; Miss Anne Lipir, Head Girl, MBRS & Miss Deflina Rabha, Cultural Secretary, MBRS aptly.
