Christmas Eve was celebrated with gait and gaiety in MBRS.

As a part of this religious and cultural festival a procession comprising of Students and Teachers was accompanied by Dr. N. K. Dutta, Founder & Principal, Mrs. Nandini Dutta, Secretary, Miles Bronson Education Society, Ms. Neha Dutta, Director of Operations & Students’ Welfare and Mr. Vishek Dutta, Asstt. Headmaster was taken out around the campus road covering a distance of around 1.5 kilometres. Throughout the walk everyone in unison sang choral numbers like Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, Silent Night, Holy Night, Jingle bells – Jingle bells, We Wish You a Merry Christmas and Joy to the World.  

It was a fun filled event where an e-rickshaw was decorated like a sledge with the Santa Claus and Angels distributing candies and chocolates.

In a candle lit stage event organised during the games time our student Na-i-Lakmen Kharshandi, Std. XI, Sc. offered prayers and Arisha P. Marak, XI, Sc. read out some portions from the Holy Bible. During the penultimate part our students presented a variety show with songs and dances.

The ceremony concluded with an address from the Secretary Mrs. Nandini Dutta who highlighted the importance of the day and recalled how she spent her childhood days in Shillong during Christmas.

The vote of thanks was offered by Head Boy, Karam Raunak Singh, Std. XI Sc.

The Event was great success and we thank all the Students and Teachers for their kind support and Co-operation.
