ANNUAL DAY 2023
On 18th February, 2023, Saturday, Miles Bronson Residential School (MBRS) has celebrated Annual Day with complete rituals and enthusiasm. The program was graced by Mr. Gopal Chandra Jha, Cluster Resource Centre Coordinator (CRCC), Govt. of Assam as the Chief Guest along with Dr. N. K. Dutta, Founder and Principal, MBRS; Mrs. Nandini Dutta, Secretary, Miles Bronson Education Society, Invited Guests, Dignitaries, Parents, Guardians, Staff and Students. Through the event, 37 schools toppers who achieved 90% and above in the previous CBSE Board All India Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (AISSCE) were conferred with Merit Awards presented by various heads of organization namely Mr. P. Prajesh, CADO, 19 Wing Air Force Station; Sr. Malar, Principal, St. Clare’s Convent High School, Guwahati; Mr. Subodh Das, Director, SOS Children’s Village, Guwahati; Dr. (Fr.) Benoy Joseph, Principal, St. Claret School, Guwahati; Smt. Snigdha Anand, Principal, KV Borjhar; Mr. Swaraj Sebastian, Principal, St. Joseph’s School, Azara and Mr. Masum Dutta, General Manager, Industrial Security Bureau (ISB).
Dr. N. K. Dutta, Founder and Principal presented the Annual Report and congratulated all toppers for their remarkable achievement despite the COVID Pandemic Tenure and extended a warm welcome to all to the Post COVID Annual Function. Dr. Dutta in his report covered most of the aspects of MBRS including Pedagogical, Co-curricular, Games, Extra-curricular and Sports, Competitions, hosting CBSE Programs as the Northeast Chapter for Clusters, Capacity Building Program for Teachers and Science Exhibitions. Mr. Gopal Chandra Jha, Honourable Chief Guest in his address extended greetings to all and highlighted upon the infrastructure facilities provided by MBRS. Ms. Nandini Dutta, Secretary, Miles Bronson Education Society through her reflections congratulated all the toppers for occupying seats in top intuitions of the country like AIIMS, Delhi University, Miranda House and similar. She deeply appreciated all the students for their remarkable and spectacular cultural performances.
Besides Merit Awards to toppers, another scintillating episode of the program was the students’ culture performances clad with the theme “Unity in Diversity”, entitled “Together We Make a Difference” received mega applauses from all.
